New at Serendipity Diamonds – Ashes Rings
We recently introduced the Ashes Ring at Serendipity Diamonds. We create several different designs with the opportunity to fully customise the ring with additional effects.
The process to create an Ashes Ring takes just five simple steps.
What is an ‘Ashes’ Ring?
The Ashes Ring seals ashes from cremation within the structure of a solid Titanium band. Many of our clients have requested this service following the loss of a friend, relative or pet.
At first, we hesitated before we decided to offer this service. Following the demand for our memorial fingerprint rings, Ashes Rings were the next step.
Each Ashes Ring features an inner Titanium sleeve with a cut channel to hold Ashes. The Ashes are bonded in resin and applied within the channel. We seal an outer sleeve around the inner section to complete the ring. Finally, we apply an optional engraving, pattern or a combination of both to the ring.
Ashes Rings in 4 Simple Steps
Clients order their Ashes Ring with the reassurance of sensitive help and guidance from our small and friendly team. We work with a very simple system to create a highly personalised memorial ring to remember the passing of your relative, friend or loved one.
Our video clip shows the outer sleeve (left), inner section into which we apply the ashes (centre) and finished ring (right).
Step 1. Place Your Order
Order your Ashes Ring online, over the phone, or book an appointment to get expert 1-2-1 help in our showroom.
Remember to order with the correct finger size. If you are unsure of your size, we suggest you start with our refundable trial finger size blanks.
If you would like an optional laser engraving applied, choose from several types in our ‘customise with engraving’ option. Don’t worry about the finer details just yet. We will contact you in due course to discuss engraving details.
Step 2. Await the Sample Container
We require just a small amount of ashes. After placing your order, we send out a small plastic container. Fill this container with ashes ready to return to us.
Fill and then return the small plastic pot with ashes
Step 3. Return the Ashes Pot
Post this back to us, or arrange an appointment to deliver this to our showroom.
Step 4. Finalise Optional Engravings
In the later stages of making your ring, we will contact you to discuss your optional engravings. Some clients add fingerprints to their ring, or a heartbeat added around their ring. Or, perhaps a date, text or even a handwritten message.
Optional effects for the Ashes Ring include adding a heartbeat or fingerprint engraving in addition to dates, text or handwritten messages.
Step 5. Arrange Delivery or Collection of Your Ashes Ring
Once completed, we will contact you to arrange delivery or collection. We appreciate how precious each ring is. For this reason, we provide insured delivery. Or, we can arrange a showroom collection to visit us.
